Why did my credit score drop after I paid off my debt?
I only make $1900 a month and I have $5,600 in credit card debt. I put entire paychecks on them as well as my stimulus check because I want to be debt free. Every time I made a payment my score went up and up but the very last payment I made for $1,400 was the last of my credit card debt and my score went down 15 points?!?!?! It is IMPOSSIBLE to contact Experian. The phone number only gives you 2 options neither one I need.
