refraction physics?

In order to verify a shiny stone as being a gem stone (in this case sapphire) the angle of refraction is measured and then the index of refraction is calculated. Using the following picture and data, what is the index of refraction for this shiny object? n_air = 1, angle of incidence 50.0°, angle of refraction 25.6°

    Rule

    n1 * sin(i) = n2*sin(r)

    ---> 1*sin(50)=n2*sin(25.6) --->n2 = 1.77
