Car jerking?
My 2008 Hyundai Santa Fe is jerking when I shift gears mainly when I go from reverse to drive. I recently had something else serviced on the car and they said I had a slight transmission leak but it was very small. What could be causing this? Other than that I don’t notice any other weird signs or anything?

If you have ANY transmission leak that is probably the problem. If your vehicle doesn't have a transmission dipstick you will have to get under it and find the plug on the side of the transmission. Unfortunately most newer vehicles don't have dipsticks and it makes checking the transmission fluid a pain. You will also have to add transmission fluid through that plug hole on the side of the transmission, if you're going to add it yourself. If you do add it yourself make sure you put in the correct fluid.

It's most likely the transmission, but you could likely have a bad motor mount. Before you do anything else, go to any auto parts store and spend $14 on some Lucas Transmission Fix. Just pour it in there. It works wonders.

Not a good sign. Get a drain and fill service on the transmission fluid to include a filter replacement. If the jerking does not go away, see a mechanic with an expensive scanner to check trouble codes. If there are no codes, transmission could be bad.
