    (50 g) / (200.59 g/mol) = 0.24926 mol

    (0.138 J/g°C) x (50 g) x (−39.0 − (−50))°C =

75.9 J to warm the solid to its melting point

    (2.33 kJ/mol) x (0.24926 mol) = 0.5808 kJ to melt the solid

    (0.138 J/g°C) x (50 g) x (357 − (−39.0))°C =

2732.4 J to heat the liquid to its boiling point

    (58.6 kJ/mol) x (0.24926 mol) = 14.6066 kJ to vaporize the liquid

    (0.104 J/g°C) x (50 g) x (750 - 357)°C = 2043.6 J to heat the vapor to 750°C

    0.0759 kJ + 0.5808 kJ + 2.7324 kJ + 14.6066 kJ + 2.0436 kJ = 20.0 kJ total
