What Colleges in NYC for a Astronomy degree?

I am looking at Pratt and Fashion Institute of Technology as colleges I can potentially go to. But I wish to get a Astronomy degree.

Are Pratt and FIT suitable? What other smaller colleges in NYC are suitable for a Astronomy degree?

Art & design institutes are totally inappropriate! Fashion Institute of Technology? Absolutely daft! What on earth are you thinking? Problem is, you are NOT thinking at all, & not doing your homework. Now you do your research on rankings of undergraduate universities offering degrees in astronomy. Be sure to compare at least 2 rating organizations. And study schools' websites.

Pratt and FIT are both art and design schools. Neither have astronomy majors.

Frankly, most people who study astronomy don't go to large cities to do so. You're lucky if you can see a single star in Manhattan, and you have to travel for miles to get a glimpse of one.

I'm not sure any small colleges in NYC have astronomy majors, unless you're willing to call Barnard small. Barnard is a woman's college associated with Columbia University, which also has an astronomy major but is by no means "small".

Astronomy is likely to be a tough major. Are you sure you can handle it if you can't even go online and look up which schools in New York offer that degree? It took 8 seconds on Google to come up with this: https://www.collegefactual.com/majors/physical-sci...
