Did you know it's possible for George Floyd to have been wrongfully murdered AND still be a piece of **** the world is better off without?

This attempted canonization of Floyd has got to stop. He was a garbage human being. Like a really, really bad guy who committed legitimate violent crimes against other people, including a pregnant woman he pistol whipped and beat up in a home invasion robbery for God's sake.

All this "gentle giant" **** makes me sick and is an insult to his victims. Floyd was anything but a gentle giant. You wanna protest his unjust illegal murder, fine. You're not wrong to. But Floyd was trash. He really was.

George Floyd was a criminal. That’s why he was being arrested. He paid his debt to society for his previous crimes and was being arrested for allegedly committing a new crime. I don’t know if he was guilty or not since he never had a chance to go to court and get a fair trial. Innocent till proven guilty.

Even if we assume he was guilty, he was not resisting arrest or posing any immediate threat to anyone. The cops should have just cuffed him and put him in the car. But officer chauvin chose to kneel on his neck and taunt him for almost 9 minutes. There was no reason for any force to be used to make the arrest. Chauvin is a criminal too. Any crimes committed by George Floyd do not justify Chauvin murdering him. Murder is wrong no matter who the victim is.

George Floyd’s murder is tragic enough already. We don’t need to add to his family’s grief by calling him trash and saying he deserved to die. He is someone’s son, brother, and father. He matters to the people who love him. Just because he committed some crimes doesn’t justify his children losing their father. He was a human being, and we should be placing a higher value on human life than that. He did some bad things, but he’s still a human being and his life still matters.

Unfortunately, as you can see here, you won’t get anything but deflection from the left. Yes, you’re right on BOTH counts. The policeman who killed him was scum, and Floyd himself was also scum.

none of that matters the fact is he submitted to police authority and they killed him for it.

if it can happen to him it can happen to you, even if you are white.

I can't disagree with you about his police record but, not seeing the video or going to see it, he was badly mistreated while in custody by an officer who had his own bad police record. I think this is the main story and not a race situation whatsoever.

So the cops that killed him were sent by God to punish him for his sins!!! /s   They are murderers pure and simple!

I think what you are saying is that if the same thing happened to you, nobody would care.
