    You can take the cell phone, like. It'll, like, work well enough in low Earth orbit to take some photos and like. Just, like, don't expect to be in range of any, like, signal towers!

    If you, like, leave low Earth orbit like, the increased radiation is likely, like to make your phone prone to some serious like, malfunctions. Eventually, like, one will brick it completely like.

    That's actually an interesting question. do astronauts bring their cell phones with them? And how would they get reception? They are nowhere near a tower, but they might be close to a satellite. And that brings to mind the question of whether we could do interplanetary phone calls, or like an interplanetary internet?
