Atheists: How come whenever anyone dares criticize Muslims, anonymous Christians come out of the woodwork to downvote them?

I certainly think such actions show complete understanding of the purpose and intent of the Muslim faith

Many wonder if the Koran (or other holy documents) of the Muslim religion drive them to do terrorism.  Their bible says to kill infidels.  Most Muslims insist that they have a religion of peace, and only a few have altered their religion to make it violent.  America reels from the 911 attack, and the various other terrorist attacks around the world.  Naturally, tensions are high.

How do you know that?
