Why does one dislike dogs or other pets?

 Their Idiocy logically.

Dogs- because they're filthy animals that don't shut up and some bite.

Cats and other pets- goodness knows. Cats are lovely and only mentally disturbed people harm or kill cats (or other pets). Usually it "kills birds' is usually the reason despite the fact humans kill birds also.

Just preference.

I have a preference with my dogs, as well. I dont love them all but I wont be an *** about it, I just wont get one of the breeds I dont like.

Only mentally disturbed antisocial people dislike dogs.   Dogs are intelligent, social creatures.

Disliking irresponsible owners who dont properly train or manage their dogs is one thing entirely.   Dogs are lovely when properly managed.

Disliking cats is more understandable.  They are allowed to roam, they are deatructive, carry disease and parasites and kill songbirds.  They are unintelligent creatures, and arent even very affectionate pets.   They reproduce like rodents.   They really arent any better than wild rats.

Why people dislike other pets is beyond me.   Reptiles especially are amazing creatures.

I can only suggest you ask 'one'.

Dogs are disgusting little mutants.

Fear (with, or without a bad experience) and allergies.
