If John Bolton's book contains classified information, why hasn't he been arrested?

Trump doesn't want the book published until after the election. No President would. It is reasonable (and standard practice in the case of former government officials) to examine manuscripts for classified information before distribution anyway.

Because it doesn't obviously, it's just a way to delay it.

The answer is obvious........because it doesn't contain *any* classified material..........just material  EMBARRASSING and unflattering to DER FURHER,  so he's attempting to abuse his authority by blocking publication of the book.  

This is what Trump does.......when he doesn't get his way,  he ties you up in court with frivolous lawsuits.   He has a long and storied history of it. 

He only needs to tie it up   until  AFTER the election. ---when it can no longer cause him  any real harm,  (except further embarrassment) 

He will no doubt threaten all manner of lawsuits against the book his NIECE is about to release too.....as she is also promising all manner of damning allegations, and evidence .

Donnie doesn't tolerate anyone not kneeling before him and kissing his shoes. 

I haven't read it (obviously), but releasing classified information is against the law.  It's not released until printed and sold.  But by then, the damage is done.  They are trying to prevent fallout from releasing who knows what classified information.  As with all, time will tell.

He announced the release of the book a year and half ago.
