Freeways are really light, I saw no one except a cop on my morning run, YA is deserted, etc.  It kind of feels like a zombie apocalypse today.  It seems to me that AGW has been pushed to the side for COVID-19 and riots.  I suspect after November, when leftists are done exaggerating the virus and trying to instill racial hatred they will get back to exaggerating AGW again and maybe YA GW will pick up again

I'm here sometimes, it's so hot outside today, we are experiencing a long heatwave here in province of Québec, and a drought! (Added) It is always sunny during the day these days and had cloudy nights, so I am not attributing it to AGW, although it might be, I can't say for sure. 

I am glad to see Dook has come back, I hope more will show up. 

This place was already pretty bad before the joker came by, and when you think it could not get sillier it did! Well, that's yahoo! 

I looked up the stats in GB for COVID-19, you guys are doing good!

Judging by how far this site has fallen into broken decrepitude recently (most of the questions in "global warming" now don't even pretend to have anything to do with the category), I would suppose that most "regulars" have moved on, more or less permanently, to less useless ways of wasting time. It has been some time since Dana had the most " 'best' 'answers'," and eons since he posted anything.

Happy to expose the lies, deception, coercion and manipulation of the anthropogenic global warming agenda any time. 

Just recognise two fundamental realities associated with the whole global AGW agenda.

1) Climate change via anthropocentric global warming is a tandem global policy with Agenda 21/30. AGW is the big global problem propagated by coerced, politically motivated pseudoscience. Agenda 21/30 is the global regulatory solution regime pre-planned and designed to deal with the false problem of AGW.

2) The 21 and 30 in Agenda 21/30 refer to the years 2021 and 2030 respectively. 

Pretty simple. The Covid 19 draconian regulatory regime is a precursor for the draconian regulatory regime associated with Agenda 21/30. Agenda 21/30 is planned for implementation commencing 2021 with a final designed outcome by 2030. They needed a test run with Covid 19 to see whether global based regulations would operate effectively. Expect more of the same coming from the PTB behind both AGW and Agenda 21/30. They are simply a tandem method of global regulatory control.

These ATONIST PTB won't succeed in their agenda of NWO of One World *collectivist* Government. But they are certainly going for it as best they can.

Before level 7 accounts could moderate the sections, unfortunately it was abused and I made small program that would move legitimate questions back in and the nonsense posted by some joker out after he was bragging how he could abuse the system.  For no other reason than to show how childish his actions were.  Yahoo was correct to take the ability away for level 7 users to moderate the sections.  But instead of hiring some moderators yahoo just let it get even worse. 

When I first came to YA it was in the technology section and later religion.  Bbeing an atheist, it was nice to see a few other atheists, but I soon got tired of the bashing of Christianity as a form of entertainment rather than trying to understand each other or other religions.   I am not surprised Sagebrush and the other evangelicals came here, they had no chance over there.

I came to global warming because of a general interests and there were a few scientist posting who were patient enough to explain things to what I mistakenly thought were skeptics.  Now I have always considered myself a skeptic in general and still do, but I accept that global warming is happening, just like I accept gravity without fully understanding either.  In the past we would see the outrages disguised as questions and that is for example how I learned about Gretta Thunberg.  By ranting against them, they drew attention to them that I  would have missed in the regular news, however the way deniers argued, has been the most interesting.  It doesn't matter what scientists bring to the table, it is simply denied.  The most boring part was repeat questions and debunked assertions, Sagebrush would go through a whole slew of them and then start again yesr after year.

I have learned to detect nonsense a lot faster, not just in global warming, but in the news in general.  I have posted how to to be a skeptic a few times in part for showing why deniers are not skeptics.  A skeptic would never use posts from known denier sites without fact checking the claims for themselves and they are often ridiculously easy to debunk, even for an electrician like myself.  This has helped me to to quit facebook a few years ago because I was tired of all the nonsense and adds that came my way.

I have switched to reddit because the groups are moderated and people like libido crusher are relegated to their own sections where they can complain how poorly they are being treated because their nonsense is getting removed from the main sections.  I am against censorship but after having spend time here I understand why that is necessary if the owners want to keep the site somewhat relevant.  But just like here, I spend half an hour a day there and I certainly don't use them as a source for news either.  They have a lot more cleaning up to do, but unlike YA, they are trying.

I have not been worried about global warming for quite some time now, renewable technology is at the point where it can compete with fossil fuels without subsidies and all that is needed is a political will.  For example smart stimulus spending on rebuilding the grid, installing solar on government buildings, replacing government vehicles with battery version will boost local manufacturing as well as a cleaner environment.  A far bigger threat to the world right now is right wing extremism and income inequality, a deadly combination in the nuclear age.

I listen to podcasts, science and technology, comedy and music while I am at home  right now in summer, I just enjoy fishing, spending time outside watching and listening to the world wake up as the sun rises is a true joy.  It almost makes one spiritual...

Posting an answer or question once in a while here mostly for nostalgic reasons.  Thank you, Darwinist, Diraq, elizabeth,  capitalgentleman, climate realist and few others it has been a pleasure reading your posts and for proving that sane people still exist, I hope to read a few more.

Well, as people know, I'm still here.  The funny thing is that I almost certainly would have closed my account and left a year ago if it weren't for the troll. I don't think he should "win" by making the forum unusable, so I've stuck around.  Yesterday was a first, though.  Willy asked a question where he implied that Greenland is gaining ice, the troll did his thing where he immediately asks 10 or 15 garbage questions to bury the real question.  I was surprised that he'd bury a denier question, but it was quite easy to refute Willy's misinformation, and once that was done the question soon disappeared.  My guess is that the troll used his dozens of accounts to report the question and get it deleted.

So now in his quest to make this forum completely worthless, he is not only burying denier questions, but also getting them deleted!

And, in answer to anonymous (that is, the troll), no Darwinist is not me.  Neither am I Elizabeth nor Skeptik, nor Koshka, nor JimZ nor Sagebrush nor Daro. I am not anybody else.  I had two previous accounts, James and pegminer, that are both closed. I always only used one account at a time in here. Having one account is bad enough.
