If a yahoo question is deleted because of a violation does the answer also get deleted and tagged?

The answers don't get deleted,they just disappear along with the question.It is only the question that gets penalised. 

When the question is removed the answers don't just remain in the display with no question associated. Yes, when a question is removed due to being reported by enough users as a violation, all the answers go with it. However, the respondents do not lose 10 pts nor have their 'user karma' affected UNLESS their answer was also reported enough to be removed, before the question got removed.

I was not aware that content removal notifications were being sent out again (good, if they are) but you didn't get that email because the question was removed. You'd have only gotten such an email if your answer was also reported enough to be a violation. Just because your answer was matter-of-fact, doesn't mean it didn't violate TOS or CGs. Sexual (adult) content posts are violations here.

If a Question is Deleted the Answers goes with it but only the Person who posted the Questions Loses Points unless the other persons Answers got Reported as well

It very strange that you got an email about a violation.   But you say you got it for answering a question not for asking a question.  So your answer was reported and removed and you lose 10 points.  But you can also appeal the deletion and maybe win and the answer could be restored but not the question.  Your question is very confusing but I try to give you the facts as you asked here..

I find it most interesting that you got a warning from Yahoo, over a single question. I've never seen you troll, so it must be a random thing. I will be careful about answering questions.

The answers must be reported separately. Some people report the answers as well as the question. If the question is reported AND deleted from the YA DISPLAY, the answers go with the question even if the answers have NOT been reported. The question and ALL of the answers are STILL in the digital databases. They have NOT been deleted. 

That you got an email from Yahoo/Verizon is somewhat unusual. Many of us have not received those emails for well over a year.

Since when do you receive a violation notice. Nobody has gotten a violation notice in years. 

Nobody knows how those yahoo idiot employees work.  You can commit a few violations and your account is suspended. You can commit several hundred violations and your account is still there.
