Would the doctor examine the tendons?
I am awaiting reverse shoulder arthroplasty. When the surgeon is performing this type of surgery, does he/she examine the tendons, i.e. supra/infraspinatus as well as replacing the ball & socket?
Thanks!!

As I understand it, the reverse technique is reserved for those with torn rotator cuff muscles, as the reverse depends on the 3 heads of the deltoid muscle to move the shoulder
