IF you were a citizen of UK at the time of your daughter's birth, you needed to register birth to UK citizen while abroad at the nearest UK consulate/high commission at the time of her birth & get her citizenship-by-descent (which the child cannot pass on to her children).

Otherwise, you need to prove you earn enough to meet support requirements sufficient for both your spouse & child, and have a suitable home in UK for all of you. Since you cannot be receiving or have received any benefits, you'll need to purchase or rent your home on the open market, no council housing.

To sponsor your wife you will need to be living in the UK and earning at least £18,300 and for your daughter an additional £3,800 if she is not a British citizen.  You will also have to show that you have suitable accommodation for them both.

A family reunion visa is a visa applied for by an asylum seeker who is in the UK..... as a British citizen you need a family visa, so a spousal visa and a dependant child visa unless your child is British so born anywhere in the world to a British citizen and registered as an overseas British birth...

I think you have to get a spouses visa and prove you are married. best to spend a few £'s on taking advice from a solicitor. also if you can get them here and you wish them to stay make sure the little one once 18 gets citizenship or they may be sent to Zambia. (such is the law)
