Hey so I got broken up with about a month ago by my girlfriend and we left it on really good term I really wanna text her and see how things are going and maybe if she wants to get back together but I also don’t wanna mess with her feelings if she’s really trying to get over me what do you think? An ex boyfriend of mine, years after me started dating another girl a grade above us. They stayed together throughout the rest of high school and into college. Surprisingly I think about 1 or 2 years later I heard they had a big falling out which ended in a pretty messy break-up. I honestly thought they were meant to be together. Well, she ended up seeing this other guy for a while and when that didn't work out she slept with his best friend. Things seemed pretty grimm, but as it turns out, somehow they found their way back to each other and as of last year they are engaged.

Not if she broke up with you. If you broke up with her, consider whether getting back with her is something you really want to do.
If it is, tell her you made a serious mistake breaking up with her. If it isn’t, leave her alone.

If it was on good terms I don't see why not, if she responds poorly or not at all let her have her space and deal with it her own way, you never know, maybe she feels the same.
