Why do Democrats like to gaslight so much?

Anonymous is right. It's the 'questioning sanity' thing. That said, what you're describing IS gaslighting so Anonymous is WRONG to say that you're not describing gaslighting. You're also describing someone disagreeing with themselves. 

Basically, Democrats, progressives anyway, don't really care about being honest. 

Not even a little. 

I think that they think that they can MAKE truth by playing games with words. I think that they think that that makes them 'smart' instead of delusional. 

As for you gaslighting, no, you're pointing out that Democrats are liars and that they disagree with themselves and try to make people believe something that conflicts with what they earlier said. What you're describing IS gas lighting. You're just pointing it out. DOING gaslighting doesn't mean someone is insane, only dishonest.

The definition of REPUBLICAN: 

a form of psychological manipulation in which a person or a group covertly sows seeds of doubt in a targeted individual or group, making them question their own memory, perception, or judgment, often evoking in them cognitive dissonance and other changes including low self-esteem.

Huh. That's the same definition for gaslighting. 

They don't

gaslight: manipulate (someone) by psychological means into questioning their own sanity.

You're doing that now.

It doesn't matter where the phrase on the statue of liberty came from.

Too many people have died because of assault or high power weapons.  Weapons are supposed to be for self defense.  Having a weapon that can kill 20 people a minute is not 'self defense'. It's madness and the only reason why they are available is because the gun companies and the NRA own too much of the government.

The government is supposed to serve not control.

They want to destroy America
