    Unless they follow American Foootball, no.  He made the news for recovering from a neck injury but that was more for the health angle rather than sport.

    I hadn't heard of him until I looked him up just now. There is very little interest in American football in UK.

    I'm British and have no idea who he(or she) is. I did wonder if the name is "vander" or "van der". Does this actually have anything to do with London?
