How to get over my anxiety of dating?

Sooo basically I’m 23 and I’ve never had a boyfriend. I’ve only been on 2 dates my entire life. I’m super self conscious about my weight and that’s why I feel like no one would like me. I try to put pictures up on online dating sites that show my entire body, but something about them just makes me feel like I don’t look as fat as I actually am. So every time I get interested in someone, and they ask me out.... I really want to go. So I agree. And then I back out of it last minute. Is there any suggestions on what to do???

Well if someone saw your profile and asks you out obviously your weight isn’t an issue to them. Just go be yourself and have fun. I think women are more self conscious about their weight and men don’t seem to mind at all or they wouldn’t have tried to talk to you. If your weight bothers you personally I’d say maybe diet and exercise. I’m in the same boat and I run a little because I’d like to lose 25 pounds but my weight has never been an issue for anyone I’ve dated. I think as women because we get so used to seeing supermodels that that is how we think all women should look but that just isn’t reality. Be happy with you and know there is someone out there who accepts you as you are
