Do you always get a interview during a security clearance check?

I filled out an application for the security cleaner that everyone is required before going into the service. Right after it is release, my recruiter checks every section that I filled out before releasing it to the agency. What happens once it gets released  to the agency, will the interview me or not unless there are some red flags on the application?

Is "security cleaner" the politically correct term for "security clearance?"

You ALREADY flunked. The government doesn't use an 'agency' to process security clearances. They ARE the agency.

If you pass the check, yes, you will be interviewed in person.

They always need more information.  They told me my mothers birthdate was wrong and they couldn't find my divorce because they were looking in the wrong county.

But there was another guy who didn't make it.  I gather his brother had some hispanic gang connections and they didn't trust him.

What does that suppose to mean?

What sort of position in the military is called a security cleaner?  I’m pretty sure the military uses civilian contractors for their janitorial needs.
