Why is discussing Sex a taboo in India.Is it due to Mohammedan rule and subsequent British Rule or due to spirituality?

In Asian cultures talking about sex is taboo and has been for a very long time. There is no such thing as Muhammedan rule. Stay offline and get an education. 

During British rule, sex was considered immoral and there is still a taboo mentality in regards to sex before marriage.  Even though India introduced the world to the Kamasutra, sex is considered private and only to be discussed in one's home, not in any public setting.

Discussing sex may be taboo in India but based on its current population, their sexual acvtivity was nothing short of exponentially outrageous.  Not surprising that the Kama Sutra, the world's first printed publication of pоrn, originated there.
