How many days can you work without a day off?

I’m not sure what the labor laws are in the state of Alabama. I work at a big company where I work everyday, 61 hours a week for sometimes 3 weeks straight at a time. Basically, they work me whenever they want and I can’t have any say or else I’m fired. I’m not trying to complain, I’m grateful I have a job, but my mental well being is deteriorating lol.

There is no federal law about this, and Alabama follows federal labor law. Unless you are a minor child attending school, there are no limitations in Alabama. You can be made to work 365 days a year, 366 in a leap year.

I worked for USPS for 38 years. It was routine to work 10-12 hours a day, 6 days a week, between Thanksgiving and Christmas, and I worked Sundays any chance I could because it was just package delivery, not my regular work delivering mail, and for me it was much easier and a welcome break. On top of getting overtime pay for 20-30 hours per week for that month.

In Alabama you can work as many days as you wish without a day off.
