"I'll be proved right eventually" -- doesn't that mean he's been wrong?

Isn't it basically admitting I've been 100% dead wrong all along for several months up to this point, thru today, and perhaps will continue to be wrong even several more weeks/months into the future?

Yes. By not saying "I was right" or "I am right" Trump's statement DOES imply that he was wrong over the past, is wrong now, and will continue to be wrong until some future point.  All in all it's one of the weaker defenses Trump can make of his "virus will disappear" statement.  Trump's re-opening policy assumed the virus was disappearing in April.  As the curve shows, it was the wrong policy.

You do realize just how ignorant that is don’t you???  That sentence in no way, shape, or form,  implies that they were wrong.
