How come there are no truancy officers in the actual workforce?

What I mean, for example, an employee is late on a daily basis or doesn't call or show up, and different employees of said, store do the same thing and yet never got fired, for some reason or another, and yet, they still get away with this. The supposed store is a type of grocer store. Explain why don't groceries stores don't have truancy officers?

These are privately owned businesses and as such they can handle employee truancy any way they see fit. If these are unionized employees it may simply not be possible to force them to do their jobs.

Your employment is an issue of contract between you and your employer. It is NONE of the government's business. If you don't show up, they can't force you to work, they can only terminate your employment. Slavery is illegal.
