Which Animals from America would go on our Zodiac Calendar?
The Chinese zodiac assigns an animal and it's colloquial attributes to each year on a 12-year cycle. If there were an American zodiac in the same vein, which animals should make the team? Why? Are we whitewashing? Maybe. But these are animals. They don't have feelings like we do. Who cares? Anyway.

The animals in the Chinese Zodiac are vague to the point where species of them also exist in the US and would require no alteration. We have horses, dogs, rabbits, pigs, snakes, goats and rats. We're not entirely unfamiliar with tigers and monkeys. I see no reason why this would require any kind of an American reboot.
