how can i protect my wifi connection from being blocked?
all the tutorials i found from Google is to "block someone's wifi connection",
but what i want is to "protect/secure my own wifi connection from being blocked by someone".
to make it clear : i live in a rented room, some sort of a dormitory. we have a free wifi for the people here to use. but one day there's one person that me and others are suspicious that he's keeping the bandwidth to himself and made it much slower to others (the story is too long to tell), he even blocked some of us. but there's nothing we could do, we're not too familiar with tinkering our devices. so we think if we can't block this suspicious guy, at least we could prevent ourselves from it.

They cannot block your WIFI remotely.
If your computer is connected to the Router by WIFI they need to access your house to block it. Don't let them in.

Pay for your own connection every month and buy your own router/modem; problem solved! Your parents/guardians/ whoever pays the bill has the right to block you or anyone they wish to that won't follow the rules! Simply put they are the ones who foot the bill every month!

........not sure how you think wifi works, but you don't get to just connect to whatever WiFi signals you want. in fact it is actually illegal to use someone's WiFi without their permission.
if you are talking about YOUR ROUTER, all you need to do is change the default password, which you can do by simply logging in to the router.
if you don't know how to do that, i suggest you check your manual, which is the best advice i can give since you gave no information in your question about the model number/name.

That makes zero sense.
Wi-Fi is wireless connection between your "device" (cell phone/tablet/laptop etc..) and a wireless access point (which is within 100 or less feet of your device). After that initial 100 feet Wi-Fi isn't part of the equation. To put that in perspective, you're Wi-Fi is local to your home.
Somebody could block your IP address, but not your Wi-Fi.
Get a clue, then come back and ask a reasonable question.

Spoof your MAC address to be the same as one permitted by their ACL. If you don't know what this means, you don't have the skills to do it.

What exactly do you mean by being "blocked"? Having a good, secure password and good encryption (WPA2) generally will prevent most typical Wi-Fi attacks.
