Do you think that synchronicity is a rather silly idea?

This word has been trigger for reset. It has exploited for selfish gains. The fabric of the future of mankind has fizzled out because of it. The bible teaches us that there are no idol words. All things must be fulfilled. This term has caused so much detriment. I refused to confess it and it pushed me overboard until there was nothing else but it.
The internet explained it to me as:
Synchronicity Explained. A synchronicity for someone on the spiritual path is that moment in the fabric of time when we suddenly and briefly become consciously aware that we have made a deeper connection with the universe or that which is greater than our individual self.
But, what I see it as is alter sacrifice. Like the Mayans would do. Just another method of torture.

Not necessarily. One of the co-founders of modern Psychology, Karl G. Jung didn't have an "idea" (silly or not) he OBSERVED it and gave it its name and description. "Meaningful coincidences" that APPEAR to have some sort of "connections" with each other and events in people's lives.
Jung supposed the reason for it was "The interconnectedness" of the universe as proposed by the early work, by physicists on Quantum Theory at the time. (early 20th Century) that suggested as much-- Quantum Entanglement ----Einstein called it "Spooky motion at a distance"---And later worked on by his protégé, David Bohm, who was able to explain it in terms of Absolute and apparent reality---which also lead to, in more recent times, HUT or "Holographic Universe Theory" Physics.
Jung, BTW, attributed the workings (when they worked) of the I-Ching and Tarot Cards . as functioning on Synchronistic Coincidences they generated.
The idea that the universe is "Hard edged", "solid" and "mechanical" is long outdated and went the way of the Dodo over 100 years ago. Folks need to brush up on the "higher order" Physics used to EXPLAIN the "Standard Model" that only describes what happens and not the WHY.

Yes, but it is no more silly than any number of paranormal / religious ideas. What it generally means is that people don't understand the number of events that constantly happen and the nature of probability.
