Yes, many times when I lived in Italy.

I have taken a train through France, a train that stopped in France. The train I took was from Spain to Italy. I've also taken many trains in France, having flown to France and vacationed there twice.

I was born in Germany, but I don't remember it. It's likely I took trains in Germany, though, too. I'd have been on my mom or dad's lap. The only time I might have taken a train to Germany, though, would've been when my parents were temporarily stationed in the Netherlands and then later returned to Germany. I mean, they could've trained to Amsterdam and flown o Stuttgart, but they might've just as well taken a train from Rotterdam to Stuttgart. I've never asked.
