How old do you have to be to buy hair dye?

i’m 15 but probably look 16 I’m so confused all my friends are saying you don’t need to be 16 but I just assumed you would have to be. I would be buying it from super drug by the way

Update:

Can you people shut up saying mature enough to ask my parents I have asked them but they’re making me go buy it so stop assuming you know everything about everyone freaks

    There is no age limit on buying hair colourants.  You should read the instructions carefully, do any recommended 'patch test' and be on the look out for adverse reactions. Basically, millions of people use hair dye perfectly safely every day so I am sure you can too. A wise person would  think about the consequences before they radically change their appearance.  What will the reaction be and what effects could that have?
