Mourinho has only been successful when he’s Had an open check-book and has all ready inherited a title winning team.

Wenger was successful in his early years at arsenal and was very shrewd in picking out And developing exceptional players. However he should of quit whilst he was still ahead when Man City and Chelsea started splashing the cash and began stealing all of his top players. He never achieved any European silverware with arsenal either.

Klopp though has only been in England about 5/6 years and has already won Liverpool a league title and guided them into a euro league and two champions league finals winning one of the latter.

When klopp first took over at Liverpool the squad he had wasn’t the worst but in terms of quality they were still miles away from the teams in the top 4. He since transformed them into a European powerhouse again winning trophy’s along the way. This was all done without spending the vast amounts of money the likes of city and Chelsea have spent either.

So when you compare the time on the job, resources and the success the three managers have had,  I would go for klopp.

Jurgen Klopp as he had lesser time to manage the club & won the Premier League in his first 5 seasons & came close to win it before. He also came close to win other title during this period.

Jose Mourinho may had won many titles, but it is because the Chelsea owner  spends millions to buy famous players & made the team strong in the past.

  • some of those might have a longer time to run, and uncover the presently unknown, and who knows what they may yet acheive, but if we are judging on the history and only history, then it has to be Wenger,  he changed the philosophy of  the game and the gameplay especially in England and the EPL...

I'm saying that as a Liverpool fan, but Wenger brought the game out of the dinosaur era to truely take the mantle of the beautiful game,  cept when the likes of Burnely and Athletic Bilbao are playing...lolz

I'd have to go with Sir Alex Ferguson

Nobody since the Premier League started to present can touch SAF's accomplishments in English Premier League.

He oversaw one of the longest spells of dominance by a top flight English football club and was the master of slowly evolving the squad and starting XI each season which was amazing to watch.

the 'fabric' always stayed the same more or less, faces came faces went and players aged, moved on, got sold on, retired, but the fabric stayed the same as long as he was manager at Manchester United football club,  he would make sure the team always went out onto that pitch and did justice to the MUFC jersey.

I cannot really say the same thing about the current crop of players under OGS though,  and I cannot really say OGS is in the same league as SAF either.

however time will tell.  I believe in the two P's.   Patience and Persistence.

As for comparing Wenger, Mourinho, Klopp and Guardiola... I think its safe to say that the most impressive accomplishment(s) so far have been from all four of those managers in English football, everything they've achieved is fantastic  but I'd also add Claudio Ranieri to that list because what he did with Leicester City was nothing short of stupendous. What a fantastic team he had assembled,  Kante with Mahrez and Vardy in that side.  Top stuff.

Wenger's 'invincibles' feat remains untouched to date and despite 3 titles in 22 years,  that 2004 achievement going 38 games 0 defeats makes up for lack of Champions League and maybe another title or two.

Guardiola's treble of Premier League title,  fa cup and league cup was better than Klopps Champions League,  super cup and world club cup because its got a prem title in there and the fa cup.   domestic treble with a league title and two domestic cups is the bread and butter.

Pep pips Wenger for 2nd place (seeing as the latter was so f*cking stubborn in his last few seasons).

But Mancini comes first, considering that his squad wasn't exactly fantastic and the club bought players he didn't want.

I've counted part seasons below, but focusing purely on the premier league

Klopp has won 1 premier league title in 5 seasons

Wenger has won 3 in 22 seasons

Mourinho has won 3 in 10 seasons

Jose has the better average of titles per season, so he's the best.

Counting total Major trophies (Title, FA Cup, League Cup, Europa League, Champions League & World Club Cup) at their respective clubs

Klopp has 3 in 5 seasons

    Wenger has 10 in 22

Mourinho has 9 in 10 seasons

    Mourinho is the better manager.
