For people who went to ivy league schools: do you think it was worth it?

I do. I went to Cornell for undergrad and my time there changed my life and was transformative.

Having said that, it's pretty hard to separate what might have been due to being at Cornell, vs. some other university, vs. just being that age (18-21), which is a time when many people "find themselves".

I later got an MBA at UMass Amherst, and an MS at UCONN. The graduate student experience is different than the undergrad one, but I can say that the atmosphere was different at both of those universities vs. Cornell.

Now, I can't speak for other Ivies, not having gone to any of them, and no, I don't think having gone to one makes me "better" or anything. I just think that, for me at least, the experience, the community, and the academic environment at Cornell was definitely worthwhile, and I think I'm lucky to have had that opportunity.
