I have found that it's more of a mental thing than feeling energized. I have tried preworkout supplements and they don't make me feel energized as like my muscles can last longer during the workout. Instead, it's my motivations for wanting to being in shape that allow me to keep pushing and not give up. Although I don't expect you to have mutual feelings about WWIII starting during this decade of the '20s and acknowledge that you will likely not be evacuated to safety simply because there are too many people to evacuate. I will stay put in my house with well water and solar energy, but that doesn't mean my friends and I can't go out and kill some rusiks or communist chinks.
If you wanted to try an affordable preworkout supplement that I felt worked better than others, buy C4 powder that you mix with water. Like other pws, it has beta alanine and if you don't have a tolerance to it you will experience a harmless tingling sensation that can also come across as itchy. I never thought of it as itchy, but scratching definitely felt more pleasurable than when not under the side effects. It's like I understood why dogs love being scratched. I have built up a tolerance to it, despite such a thing being unspoken of, and no longer experience the sensation. It was actually the tingling sensation that made me think C4 was working better because I was able to power through better, but once the sensation stopped I slowed down. I mentioned other supplements also have beta alanine; I don't think they have as much since others didn't cause the tingling sensation. C4 also has a product with the same purpose but in drink form in a can. I wasn’t fond it of because it wasn’t quite the greatest tasting, but neither are Bang and other workout energy drinks.
If you are unsure of where to start and need advice, I would strongly recommend checking out athleanx.com and AthleanX's youtube channel. Jeff Cavaliere definitely provides educated advice and you can select a program to follow on the website. Only thing is that it's not free and costs around $80 for lifetime access. I personally say the guidance and results are well worth the money. The guidance includes meal planning advice.
