Oregon's mayor requesting outside help but still refuses help from the National Guard. Sheriffs are denying the extra help because the DA is releasing the same rioters day after day with no charges being filed. Thoughts?
And I misspoke, it was Oregon's Governor, not mayor.

Can't say I blame them. Everything south of Bend and east of Hood River is pretty conservative and it's a no win situation in Portland. No agency wants to risk its staff to arrest people the City Attorney will just release without charges.

They have their own land and funding. Why should they go outside of their official "area"??
