    Having all their bones removed.   I highly recommend that you ask your doctor to do this so you never have to worry about it again.   Then have him remove all your organs that may become cancerous and it will solve all your problems as well.

     would say 52 years without recurrences counts as a cure. A series of unusual events, including having to get x-rays after slipping off a diving board into a trash can, led to very early detection of my cancer, and I had a superb surgeon who was able to remove the margins of the cancer. I was very fortunate. But some other people are, too.
