Will there be yet another lockdown in India?

COVID 19 cases are alarmingly increasing.

The governments are very worried about how to protect people from their own foolish actions. India daily new cases continue to grow in a high density population.

    https://www.worldometers.info/coronavirus/country/...

Active cases keep rising. It isn't a spike, it is a steady rise.

    Daily deaths not peaking

Death rate per million is still low.

Vast majority are recovering, but unknown about the amount of residual illness disabilities by recovered people.

978713 active cases over 1,382,715,488 total population shows tracked sick are still at a relatively low 0.071 percent.

The USA mismanaged is averaging 0.772 percent infected at 10X the rate in India.

The worst USA State, Florida, is infected and sick at 2.237 percent of the population.

This is 31 times the active case rate in India. As compared with 50 US States and DC Capitol district, India is worse than 3 and better than 48.

They need to make decisions in India about whether the health care system can handle the total numbers and about the percent infected and sick.

By Percent ill by country, India rank is 72 / 209 where lower rank number is worse as more infected.

By reported active cases, India is #2:

    World 6,395,952

    USA 2,535,078 = 39.6%

    India 978,713 = 15.3%

    Brazil 631,163 = 9.9%

    France 253,942 = 4.0%

    Rest of world = 31.2%

India is monitoring their daily status and will do what must be done, but lockdowns are very costly.

Your question belongs in Health>Other-Health OR Politics & Government>Government as it's currently in Yahoo Products>Yahoo Answers and not applicable to this subcategory (and thus decreases your chances of getting many useful answers).
