What will you do if you found $1000 on the road side? Will you take it, look for the owner, handover to the police station or anything else?

The exact situation makes a difference, not the large amount. Large bills? Wrapped sequential bills? Any possibility to identify the owner? If it is possible to return it, I’d take it to the police. 

I'd turn it in to the police.

if i don't seen anyone dropping it or a note attached to it imma take it. 1k isn't alot imo so imma take it to a bank have them check out the bills make sure it's real and not fake and then save it. 

if larger amount take to the police. i think after 30days nobody claims it then its yours. 

if it didnt have a name to it i would give it to the police station, if their name was near it like in a wallet i might just give it to the owner

Unless I see someone drop it or see someone obviously looking for it, I will take it.
