    Kali, according to myth fought a demon who multiplied a hundred times when a drop of his blood hit the ground. ,She would drink the blood to prevent this, and she soon became drunk, and wild. Which is why images of her are seen as dancing. Cult followers believed that by killing victims and offering up their blood was a ticket to heaven.
