Should the United States become separate countries?

Each state seems to have its own different characteristic, culture, accent, etc. It's like they were destined to be separate countries but are forced to be under one roof. For example, the southern states have some Spanish in them. The northern states have French connections. The East states have English connections, etc. Alaska, Hawaii, etc, are their own brands.

The idea  sounds better each day California is the 5th largest economy in the world today. We could annex Oregon, Washington, and the Baja,  giving us full control of the entire Pacific coast of North America. CA has been sending many times more money to DC than the feds send to us. We could start out being a superpower, and grow from there.

No need - they’re already separate states with their own local governments.

Once we get rid of Trump and his divisive rhetoric we can work at the United part.

    Uhhhhhh ...

    No.

We've fought a few wars to prevent that.
