Why "does" the democrats?....... And you posted on my question that I don't understand English?  Really?  You need basic language classes. Do not post anymore bs on my postings.

Your numbers are way off. There are currently 3 democrat appointed justices and 5 Republican appointed. And the reason the winner of the election should get to pick is because McConnell wouldn’t let Obama pick a justice in his last year of office. The same standard should apply now. 

The Democrats want the Republicans to stick to their own word, as if Republicans had any integrity at all. In 2016, Moscow Mitch McKochnell said the people should have a say in the SCOTUS and so filling a seat, during an election year,  should wait until after the election. Apparently he changed his mind.

--  They would prefer that Trump not announce a potential judge, and wait until the election is over. Then winning party (and president) should make their choice for selection, and hopefully it is a female.

--  It is bad for a party and president to make a nomination so close to an election. It would be even worse if the president pushed the nomination through Congress, and actually have the appointment made.
