    A0 paper has a surface area of 1 sq m, (and sides in the ratio of 1:√2) with each subsequent A-size being half the previous, so A4 is 1/16 of a sq m.

    The earth has a surface area of about 510.1 million sq km, so it would need approx 8.1616 x10^12 sheets of A4 to cover it.

    Divided the area of the Earth by the area of the paper.  

    The paper is 62.37 sq cm.
