Anyone have any good Book series recommendations outside of Divergent and Hunger games?

Robin Hobb writes trilogies all set in the same world. The first series, the Assassin series, starts with "The Assassin's Apprentice." It's not the sort of thing I usually read, but one of our kids gave me the first book, sure I'd like it, and was right. I own them all now.

Any and all of my book recommendations would be outside of "Divergent" and "The Hunger Games."

I second MsBittner's and Ian's recommendations - but not now.
If your reading background is Divergent and the Hunger Games you'll want to make an intermediary step before you dive in the deep end, so to speak.
Have you heard of Tamora Pierce? If not, do yourself a favor and get yourself her books. They're awesome!
You might wanna check out Stephen King's "The Long Walk" (originally published under his nom de plume Richard Bachman) and Kōshun* Takami's "Battle Royale"**. Both books aren't series but rather stand-alone but if they can be seen as spiritual predecessor's of the "Hunger Games" (in fact, Collins has been accused of having plagiarized "Battle Royale" so there definitely are some similarities!).
When I was younger I read Louise Cooper "Time Master" trilogy and was blown away. There's little connection with the two series you mentioned but you asked for "good book series" so I must recommend that one! ;-)
Your question unfortunately is very vague - there are tons of "good book series" out there. You'll get more suitable recommendations if you tell us a tiny bit more what kind of books you're looking for.
* sometimes transliterated as "Koushun"
** if you're going to look for a copy of "Battle Royale" (which you should do!), I recommend to pick the newer translation "Battle Royale: Remastered"; the original translation apparently is not the best

I think her name is Cherie Priest. She has a series of books that are petty cool. If I remember correctly the first book is called Boneshaker. I don't think the whole series of books has an official name but they all tie in together. I couldn't tell you how many books there are either. It's been a while.

Seanan McGuire's October Daye series (I'm reading the latest book right now). Faith Hunter's Jane Yellowrock series. Andre Norton's Witchworld series (an old one).
