Can a lawayer defend or represent his or her family members? ?

Is it still legal to defend ur own family members or relatives? Isnt it bias somehow?

    The answer is yes, unless there is a potential conflict of interest in the case.

    There is nothing prohibiting who a lawyer can or can not defend. 

    No, there is no bias. An attorney is required by law to defend their client to the best of their ability. Any bias would only motivate the attorney to do his best.

    Yes, a lawyer can defend or represent his family members. It might not always be the best idea, but it is allowed. How is it a special bias? A lawyer should ALWAYS be biased in favor of her client.

    Bias would be if the lawyer was related to the judge, or the prosecutor, or the victim or a witness for the other side.
