You do realize that a female murderer is most likely gonna murder anyone who would try to rape them, right? Meanwhile, a male criminal would try to rape fellow male prisoners if they could get away with it. Prison rape in all-male jails is literally the punchline of a joke, it's so well-known and accepted of a phenomenon.
