who here has a persimmon tree  i do and also a squirrel keeps stealing the fruit from the tree?

the fruit isnt very ripe when i picked it because the squirrel steals all the ripe ones

    You may want to use organza bags. Amazon sells them in different sizes and colors. I also use a Gilmour nozzle from Lowes which has a "full" setting, and I blast them with it. They says that if you plant potatoes under the tree, it may help.

    Squirrels are very wasteful, and drop a lot of fruits which they do not climb down to pick up. They usually make little nicks in the fruits which prevents ripening.

    If you would like to wrap the whole tree in a netting, you can go to Uline, and find something there.
