My 13th birthday is in 2 days, and for some reason my parents and family seem more happier about it than me. Why am i not happy that my ?

Because it’s a special day 

You shouldn't be. I'd love to be 13 again and not have to work or drive and do whatever I wanted like getting into a fight without fear of punishment like people your age get to enjoy.

You have eight more years before you become an adult, don't listen to the first answer talking about Romeo and Juliet, you are still a child and you will be until 21. Which coincidentally, was as true back then as now. Possibly even more so since I bet people under 21 were allowed to drink. 

You don't explain much to go on. But it is the end of childhood. For many thousands of years, throughout Human History, one was an adult at 14. Roméo and Juliette would have been legally adults and married and Romeo a war veteran by 14 and Juliette a young mother. America artificially infantalises people an extra 4 years legally declaring you a minor until 18 wherefore you are NOT taught the necessary life skil and knowledge of any other human society including even acting mature which justifies you being treated as children. They set you up to be ignorant of adult matters so, whenever you are asked, you don't have the answers and they cry, "There, see! Lo these are infants", and they teach you through theatre and television and movies as well as by bad examples to act like "High School kids" so you absolutely don't fit in with adult society. Well, you've been framed and set up. It's against the law for you to be "truant" from high school and you're legally a semi- prisoner disadvantaged from competing in the job market for earnings and spend the first 4 years of your adult life artificially kept a child. But God never set it up that way, it's a weird quirk of the legislators. Thirteen is the gateway to adulthood and you're not being prepared the way the people of the Bible and God meant you to be. By pretending you're a child and shall be 5 more years, you're given no guidance to be 13, no rites of passage and no knowledge or wisdom is being shared. Your gifts will reflect your ongoing childhood. Toys not cooking utensils and dishes, furniture and a loom. Boys may get a toy weapon but not real weapons and a first taste of being in a real battle, let alone a house and a plough. It's weird but it's the society you're stuck in. Along with millions of other new adults being treated as kids. The most forbidden thing is for any adult to tell you what has happened to you physically and that you are an adult and what it means, so each of you, millions of you, are going completely crazy with frustration and confusion for 4 years wondering what is happening with you and no answers are forthcoming. There's a brilliant movie about it called "Splendour in the Grass" starring Natalie Wood and Warren Beatty. They were TOLD they were children but they really were NOT and it drove them crazy. See the movie if you can. But, even if you can't, know that God knows what is going on with you and understands the wrong being done you, and that you are strong enough to survive the crazy 4 years of high school and don't despair. Some give up and kill themselves but don't do that, because God has a life in mind for you and, when you are 18, they can no longer stop you. You'll be free and won't be locked up in juve for truancy and you can get a job and earn money and buy houses and cars and tickets to fly around the world and visit other countries and go to colleges and start businesses and, basically the world is going to be yours. You all need to live. Don't give up. Stay alive because God means for you to live your life and inherit the world. Be strong and patient and smart. Life's going to be wonderful. God bless you.

You're not far from the point where you begin the slide down the razor blade of life.

You finally are beginning to recognize the downside of ageing. Basically, you will have more responsibilities, and will have to do more for yourself.

Because you're realizing that you're just getting older.
