    What??  We have no votes here.  This is a private site and they do whatever they want.  The only affect you have is to not click on Yahoo news stories if you dislike their no comment policy.  It's then up to them if their lower ad revenues from that makes them change.  In effect, your only "vote" is through your click behaviour.
