Why is it's okay for the Democratic Michigan governor and Chicago mayor to protect themselves from civil unrest?

You forget the LIEberal left demoCROOK motto "Do as we SAY and NOT as we DO!!". Just like with ALL they're proposed firearm bans when it comes to what they call "ASSAULT WEAPONS" they want to ban the private citizen from owning them BUT they also want members of congress EXEMPTED from the ban so the LIEberal left demoCROOKS in congress will be allowed to keep THEY'RES but us minions would be REQUIRED to surrender ours for a hefty reimbursement of $50 even though some have a  REAL value into the multi THOUSANDS! I know I could currently sell some of my "ASSAULT WEAPONS" for over $2,500!

I'm not sure what you're talking about.  Perhaps you're thinking of the McCloskey's a couple in St Louis who became famous after they illegally pointed guns at protesters passing by their house.  They were recently charged with crimes.  But neither of them is the Governor of the state.  They did live near the Mayor of St Louis, which is why the protesters were passing by their house.
