260K per week over 52 weeks is 32,240,000 pounds per year, or (based on current exchange of 1 GBP to $1.30 US, he would be earning $41,912,000 per year.

HOWEVER, keep in mind that Premier League players are taxed at 45%, so his take-home (not counting bonuses, appearance fees, endorsements, international appearance money, etc.) would be just over US$23 million.

£260,000-a-week = USD338,695.93 and one year has approximately 52 weeks.

So he will make an annual salary of USD17,612,188.40

Footballers don’t pay 45% tax, that’s just normal mugs. They will be paid through companies, off shore or other tax avoidance schemes. All legal but immoral when normal people are taxed so highly.

For the people who can not do Math:

    £260,000 x 52 = £13,520,000

     £1 = $1.29

    13,520,000 x 1.29 = $17,440,800

    £260,000 is around $336,000 p.w

Bare in mind 45% of his salary is going in tax, and that this is BASIC wage, not including bonus such as apps, goals or assists.

Good for him. I just wish i had that talent when i was 18 with at least 14 years playing time.I would have earned more than Donald Trump ha ha

Arsenal disgusting club will have to reduce even more wages now.

Good thing even with Partey good teams such as Everton and Chelsea will still crush them by 4 goals.

Personally I would not have left Atletico for Arsenal but the guy spent his whole career in Spain. I think Arsenal are also pretty popular in Ghana and certainly English football is popular there anyway so that could have been a factor too that a club so big when he was growing up along with Arsenal winning a trophy last season and obviously the money he'd earn it was probably pretty simple once there was interest from Arsenal the guy wanted to leave Atleti
