How long do you wait for an answer after sending in a Disability update review to Social Security?

Do you only get an reply if they do a continue review?

    i waited about 8 months the last time i applied

    Depends what country you're in, old chap. If you're in the UK I'd give them 2-3 weeks before calling them up.
