Dating for trans people is more challenging, but there is someone out there for everyone.
Society and the world are becoming more educated all the time and dit's only going to get better as time goes on.

I can only say "maybe". If your intentions are to keep the fact that you used to have male bits and pieces from your future SOs, then definitely. However I can also tell you this is a recipe for disaster. A plant grown with the water of a poisoned well can never bear wholesome fruit.
If you intend to be up front about it, I don't think it'll change your pool of options much. Those who care pre-op will still not "get it". Generally I have no issue finding a date and have had plenty of SOs of all gender/sex combinations. However, I pass well and let it be known that with men I am "bottom only" so they don't have to worry about me wanting to be the penetrative partner. In fact, seeing as how I pass exceptionally well (better than some cis-females) I've had boyfriends happily show me off with a sense of security because, nature of my being trans, they don't have to worry so much when other guys hit on me (they wouldn't want to take me home if they knew).
I will say though, I had a boyfriend one time with a twice a day libido and God did I wish I had more... Options

Where did you hear that? Not very many people would willingly date a trans person...then again they're few and far between. Some people (me included) would be friends with a trans person, but dating them is a different story. Most people see them as backwards wannabes.

Transwomen might be able to find more wholesome normal men if she had a woman's genitalia considering that a lot of creepy guys fetishize transwomen. I just think the quality of your love life might improve and your dating pool would be more expansive. However it wouldn't make it any simpler.
