Is there evidence to support the fact that black people are still oppressed or not? Asking for sources.?
I’m asking this again because a lot of people seemed to miss what I was asking for. Some people gave their political opinions, a couple said they had a source but never sent it, another person basically told me to look for it myself.
I am asking for a sources to be linked. I’m having trouble finding the information myself. I’m asking for the sites to be credible. .gov .edu (maybe even .info) No offense but I am not asking for personal or political opinions. Strictly sources. Appreciate anyone willing to help

POC are disproportionately imprisoned (FBI stats), killed by police (FBI stats), receive higher sentences for similar crimes, etc.

No.
If anything, minorities have advantages that whites do not have... Affirmative action laws give them preferences to get hired.
And then there are scholarships and college grants that are only available to minorities.

I think many people look at the situation they were born in, and see it as the result of things which happened in the past. For example, anti-literacy laws being responsible for the creation of ebonics, broken English. Though they were free, the doors were not opened for them for jobs everywhere, so many turned to corrupt activities to survive. They were segregated in ghettos with other struggling people, and it bred a downtrodden culture with a big chip on their shoulders. They had spent their years, basically building what could be called the pyramids of other men, and had nothing to show for it.
Before their Exodus, or release from bondage, God's instructions was for the Hebrew people to take what was rightfully theirs, meaning the Egyptians were to give them silver, gold, jewels.... for their work which they did not pay the Hebrews for, and grew rich and wealthy from their labors, as they took advantage of them, and put them into a system of slavery which they did not deserve. Now, in the US, when blacks were released from slavery, they did not receive help nor compensation. They did not get much help with direction, open doors.... and so the consequences of the decision-making of the past, including the failure of white leadership to act correctly, caused problems which created a ripple effect into the future. There are those who have worked hard, studied, and chose careers that created better futures for themselves, but not everyone overcomes the negatives in their environments, most people conforming and succumbing to things which end up hindering their own lives. Ideally, everyone needs to use introspection to see how they have personally contributed to the world, whether we have fed into the evil and perpetrated it, or uplifted righteousness instead. Physically and spiritually, all of us at some point have taken in and consumed things that are harmful to a good system.
The fault is definitely not one-sided. Regardless of ethnic variations, we can struggle finding help and support in life, and feel like we have been ill-equipped. But despite how we were raised, our own life choices make a path for ourselves, so we need to recognize that the destination that we have brought ourselves to, is the destination that we have steered ourselves to. And yet, despite all the wisdom that a person may have and all the right and good choices that a person can make, injustices can and still do occur, so that even the wisest of all men is not immune from suffering and affliction. A man named Job in the Bible is such an example, but even Jesus, the righteous who was put to death, but not for not making any unrighteous choices. The followers of God, know that humanity's ultimate problem is due to rebellion and separation from God. Being led by people who are not Him, is definitely a curse of our current existence.
Despite our best efforts to make the world great, or even our neck of the woods, this world was not supposed to function properly without God. The world was made, not only by God, but for Him, to have Him in it. The same goes with us. We are not just made by Him, but our lives are truly supposed to revolve around Him, and our souls gain their satisfaction, meaning, purpose from having Him in our lives, not just religiously as some think with attendance and social gatherings, but have His Spirit connected to our souls. God gives to us, what all His subjects cannot make without Him, and that is a utopia. There is no good substitute for Him.. no worthy replacement. No one can fill His shoes. We can try our hearts out to make the world a better place, and that is a good and righteous endeavor, but the One who is going to ensure that righteousness, truth, justice...prevails and succeeds in this world is God. He is the solution, and we cannot bypass Him. He is going to accomplish it, and we need to make sure we get on board His boat, because everything around us is going to sink, but those who stick with God will be on the only solid and firm foundation.
